Florida-raised/Brooklyn-based indie pop outfit the Drums only played their first show a year ago, but they've already earned an impressive following thanks to a string of euphorically catchy singles. We've previously reported on the band's plans for their self-titled debut, which will be dropping in the UK on June 7 via Island. Now, in a recent interview with Exclaim!, front-man Jonathan Pierce revealed the details for the album's North American release.

According to the singer, the record will come out digitally and on vinyl on June 14 via Downtown. A CD release will then follow in September.

UPDATE: The North American vinyl edition is now slated for August 10.

Earlier this month, the Drums released a video for the album track "Forever and Ever, Amen," which you can check out below. The previous singles "Let's Go Surfing" and "Best Friend" will also appear on the LP.
