The Drums Unveil North American Tour, Hit Up Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver

BY Alex HudsonPublished Feb 29, 2012

During the touring cycle behind their first album, the Drums' guitarist Adam Kessler quit the band and they came close to breaking up. The band don't seem to be having any such problems this time around, as they just announced another tour in support of their sophomore album, last year's Portamento.

Aside from a few scattered festival appearances, the bulk of the band's dates will take place within a month from April to May. The outing begins in the eastern part of the continent, where the outfit will play in Montreal and Toronto, and then moves over to the West Coast and includes a date in Vancouver. See the schedule below.

Scroll past the tour dates to hear a newly unveiled song from the Drums called "I Don't Want to Go Alone." It's the B-side to the band's latest single "Days."

They will be bringing along fellow indie pop outfit Craft Spells, who just announced a new EP called Gallery.
