He may be best known as the guitarist for Real Estate, but Matthew Mondanile is bringing back his other band Ducktails for another full-length.
Following up Ducktails III: Arcade Dynamics, the new record will be titled The Flower Lane and is set to arrive on January 29 via Domino.
Branching out from the mostly solo previous efforts, Mondanile recorded the album with fellow New Jersey dudes Big Troubles. He roped in collaborations with Daniel Lopatin of Oneohtrix Point Never and Ford & Lopatin, as well as Joel Ford of the aforementioned duo. Cults' Madeline Follin, Outer Limitz' Sam Mehran and Future Shuttle's Jessa Farkas also appear on the album.
