Two of Toronto's most talented dudes did little to hide their joy about playing Guelph again, almost exactly one year since making their live debut in the city. Brian Borcherdt (Holy Fuck) bounded about the stage with his voice drenched in reverb and his electric red Guild set to hazy, while super producer Leon Taheny (Rituals) pounded drums and played keyboards simultaneously. The result was a walloping Dusted set, where a kind of folk music morphs into this thunderous, post-rock release. And they debuted a hot new T-shirt design that will surely be spotted around downtown over the next while.
