According to the Daily Mail, the pop singer is in talks to appear in an upcoming film tentatively titled All You Need Is Love. Written by Richard Curtis, it tells the story of a man who realizes he's the only person who can remember the Beatles' music.
If the tabloid paper is to be believed, Working Title will be the studio helming the project.
Then again, their "source" also said, "Everything Ed touches turns to gold. He is the biggest hit-maker on the planet. If anyone can make a film about the Beatles songs even better musically, it's him."
It's unclear yet whether Sheeran is negotiating an onscreen role or involvement with the movie's soundtrack, though the Mail claims he will do both.
Sheeran's most recent screen job was a role in the last season of Game of Thrones — other than his appearances in Taylor Swift and Eminem's music videos, of course.
