Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes have a self-titled LP on the way this summer, and now they've given us a taste of what's in store with the album opening cut "Better Days."
The track is a clattering, vintage-soul flavoured number. It starts off fairly minimal but the arrangement swells as it goes on and the entrance of choral backup vocals give this one a hint of a grandeur.
Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes is out on July 23 through Community Music. See the band's upcoming spring and tour schedule here.
