Last February, long-running pop act (and Shrek soundtrack mainstay) Eels released Wonderful, Glorious. Now, like clockwork, the project has announced a follow-up less than a year later.
The record is called The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett, suggesting that Eels mainman Mark Oliver Everett may be trying to warn us about something.
The 13-track album is described as "an extraordinarily vivid and intimate document of a personal struggle," and will arrive on April 22. Though a label has not been revealed, Eels' last five albums came out on Vagrant.
A trailer for the album is available below.
