Elon Musk's embarrassing, hectic Twitter takeover continues to drive famous people off the platform, as Elton John has now announced that he'll be leaving the app "given their recent change in policy which will allow misinformation to flourish unchecked."
"All my life I've tried to use music to bring people together," John wrote in a tweet this morning. "Yet it saddens me to see how misinformation is now being used to divide our world."
John is just the latest star to leave the platform, with Jim Carrey announcing that he was leaving last month, along with Trent Reznor, Liz Phair, Whoopi Goldberg, Toni Braxton and Jack White's Third Man Records.

I've decided to no longer use Twitter, given their recent change in policy which will allow misinformation to flourish unchecked.
