Cream drummer Ginger Baker sadly passed away in October of this year, and his bandmate Eric Clapton has now announced plans to honour him with a tribute concert early next year.
As Rolling Stone points out, Clapton will stage a tribute show at London's Hammersmith Apollo on February 17. Proceeds will benefit U.K. charity Leonard Cheshire, which assists people living with disabilities.
While Clapton is the only artist on the bill to have been announced so far, tickets are set to go on sale November 29.
The setlist is said to focus on Clapton and Baker's work with Cream and Blind Faith. Rolling Stone notes that it is unclear whether Steve Winwood, the only living Blind Faith band member apart from Clapton, will appear at the performance.
Baker died on October 6 after falling "critically ill" and being admitted to hospital. He was 80.
Clapton has slowed his touring commitments in recent years, in part due to going deaf among other health issues.
