Today, Danish songwriter and producer Erika de Casier (who had a major 2023, producing NewJeans' hit "Super Shy," one of our favourite songs of the year) announces her new album Still, arriving February 21 on 4AD.
Alongside the announcement, de Casier has also shared the video for self-produced lead single "Lucky," a skittering, liquid bop that comes with a video directed by Jesse May Fisher called "me walking on the beach," made as an homage to viral YouTube videos from the early aughts.
Still sees de Casier producing for guest voices for the first time, with contributions from They Hate Change, Shygirl and Blood Orange, plus collaborations with live musicians and producers like N (who co-produced her previous records, Essentials and Sensational), Jonathan Jull Ludvigsen, Carl Emil Johansen, Niels Kirk, Christian Rhode Lindinger, Nick León, Kirsten Nyhus Janssen and Tobias Sachse.
