Farewell to Freeway

Farewell to Freeway’s debut on Victory’s roster is possibly the band’s most definitive work yet. Definitions not only well represents the musicians but also the quintet’s talent through relatable lyrics, serene melodies and just enough aggression to kick your ass when it’s called for. Strangely, the most enjoyable aspect of this album is that none of the 11 tracks contrast the next all too much. There’s no drop-off in appeal, as half the songs opt for a heavier sound while the other half play with melody a bit more, covering a lot of ground for different tastes. Definitions is dynamic and well worth a few dollars and a few hundred listens.
