Moncton-bred melodic punk trio Feral Trash may have released a record just over a year ago, but rather than rest on their laurels, the wild rock outfit are back with another batch of tunes. Their upcoming Dirt Cult Records/Mammoth Cave Recording Co. release Trashfiction won't be out until October 26, but in the meantime, you can tide yourself over by listening to the premiere of their new song "Obey" on Exclaim.ca.
It's business as usual for the ramshackle rock group, as "Obey" finds the fresh-faced three-piece delivering blistering riffs amongst a stream of straightforward drumbeats and sinewy vocals.
Although two-thirds of the band (husband and wife Eric and Ilisha) are now living in Ottawa, a press release notes the whole crew will be out on tour in the near future. Until then, listen to "Obey" below.
