With an X-Files reboot on the way, FIDLAR has tapped into the spirit of government-mistrusting alien paranoia with a video for their song "Drone."
The song is a catchy, punk-fuelled takedown of intrusive government surveillance, while the accompanying video shows a man in a business suit looking over his shoulder while attempting to evade some unearthly pursuers. He eventually gets nabbed and tossed into a van, and a brain-cutting session results in a rather surprising transformation for our protagonist.
The clip debuted on Apple Music. Watch it below.
FIDLAR's album Too is due out on September 4 through Wichita/Mom + Pop/Dine Alone.
