R&B experimenter FKA twigs (real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett) has responded to an onslaught of racist tweets she received over the weekend from Twilight fans.
Proving yet again that Twihards shouldn't be allowed near the Internet, the UK singer was bombarded with harassing tweets from fans who apparently aren't pleased with the rumours that Barnett is dating the franchise star Robert Pattinson. Supporters of Pattinson's ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart also attacked the singer via social media.
Barnett responded, voicing her disgust at the comments she's been receiving.
FKA twigs released her debut full-length LP1 earlier this year via Young Turks, earning a nomination for the Mercury Prize. The winner is announced on October 29 and you can see her upcoming tour dates (including a Vancouver stop) over here.

I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week.

Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it's unacceptable online.
