Fleetwood Mac's 1979 offering Tusk was already one of the weightiest, most experimental offerings in the rock group's catalogue, but we're about to get hit with a ton of unreleased and rare goodies from the time period via an upcoming, expanded box set release. Ahead of the mammoth package landing December 4 via Rhino, you can sample an old concert clip of the band playing "Sara."
This particular performance was captured in Tuscon, AZ, in 1980, and finds Lindsey Buckingham describing the piece as "another one of Stevie's," adding, "it's real pretty." You can make that call for yourself by giving the Stevie Nicks-sung track a spin down below.
This is one of four versions of "Sara" to appear on the box set. Also included are the original album version, a single edit, and an alternate studio take. As previously reported, this latest edition of Tusk comes with five CDs, two vinyl LPs and a DVD.
