French Montana

"Don't Panic" (video)

Earlier this week, Bronx rapper French Montana teased his forthcoming Mac & Cheese 4 LP with the new single "Don't Panic." Now, the song's been treated to a video.

The clip was directed by Eif Rivera, and despite its bleak theme — which borrows a brooding sense of torture porn from the film The Purge: Anarchy — it's also got plenty of rap video must-haves, from product placement to Frenchie mugging for the camera.

Toward the end of the video, one of the menacing clowns removes her mask to reveal that she's actually Khloe Kardashian, the reality television star who's currently in a relationship with French Montana. She was helping him torture those people all along, what hilarity!

Speaking with MTV, Rivera said, "The fact that we got Khloe Kardashian to play in it is dope because it just brings it to a broader audience.... We want to have the fans understand that, this is a movie sort-of video. She's portraying a role, she's acting. French is acting. We didn't want to portray it that she's coming out all gangsta and then have her fans turned off and vice versa."
