'Fubar' Star Deaner Tours Western Canada with Nightseeker

Paul Spence has become something of a hoser icon thanks to his role as Dean "Deaner" Murdoch in the Fubar films, and he'll be continuing his beer-swilling rock'n'roll ways in the coming weeks by touring with his band Nightseeker.

This week, the band will play a trio of shows in Alberta, with stops in Grande Prairie, Edmonton and Calgary. And next month, the group will resume touring in late April for four shows in British Columbia: Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna and Kamloops.

For those unfamiliar with Nightseeker, a press release describes them like this: "Deaner has a band, and his band kicks serious ass. They have a sound that's somewhere between AC/DC, Motörhead, early Sabbath, with just a drop of Poison for the ladies."
