Ottawa-based grindcore/experimental metal greats Fuck the Facts are getting pretty long in the tooth. As leader/guitarist Topon Das points out, it's been a solid ten years for the quartet. That's one full decade of scorching solos, rampant drum beats, thundering bass and primeval wails spread out over the course of eight full-length albums, a plethora of EPs/singles and other various affairs, the latest being Unnamed EP released early last year.
Looking to celebrate this momentous occasion, the band have announced an anniversary tour that will take them around North America and feature a set list comprised of tunes throughout their legacy.
As Das reveals, the shows "will touch on every album from 2001's Mullet Fever all the way up to some brand new songs from our upcoming album Die Miserable. Most dates are already confirmed, but we'll be updating the dates with details as we get them. So keep an eye out."
