Next month, post-punk legends Fugazi will release First Demo, an LP that, well, collects the 11 songs from their first demo. Today, we get a taste of the release with a demo version of their Repeater track "Merchandise."
The demo was recorded 26 years ago at Inner Ear Studios, though it's clearly been remixed for rerelease. After all, it's a fairly clear recording full of the band's quiet-loud-quiet dynamics and duel vocals. There's also the addition of a piano to its intro.
Listen to the demo version of "Merchandise" below. First Demo arrives on November 18 via Dischord.
