Gal Gadot Confronts Rumours She Got Brett Ratner Fired from 'Wonder Woman'

"The truth is, there's so many people involved in making this movie, it's not just me, and they all echo the same sentiments"

Earlier this week, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot garnered attention for reportedly issuing an ultimatum to Warner Bros., essentially threatening to walk if Brett Ratner remained connected to the franchise's upcoming sequel. This morning (November 15), however, the actress appeared on Today and revealed that she wasn't solely responsible for getting the disgraced producer cut from the upcoming film.

"At the end of the day, a lot has been written about my views and the way that I feel, and everyone knows the way I feel because I'm not hiding anything," Gadot said. "But the truth is, there's so many people involved in making this movie, it's not just me, and they all echo the same sentiments."

Before dismissing this week's reports, she added, "Everyone knew what was the right thing to do. There was nothing for me to say, because it was already done before this article came out."

Ratner was recently accused of sexual misconduct by six actors, including Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge. Warner Bros. has since severed multiple ties with Ratner, and as Gadot seems to confirm, that includes his role in the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel. Ratner's company RatPac-Dune Entertainment co-produced the 2017 film with Warner Bros.
