Gang Gang Dance Ready New Album

After taking a three-year break from the full-length game, "neo-tribalists” Gang Gang Dance have announced plans for record number four. On October 21, the leftfield New York outfit will drop Saint Dymphna through Social Registry in North America and Warp everywhere else. And like last year’s teaser EP Rawwar, the record promises to venture into more danceable terrain, mixing the band’s hypnotic tribal workouts with larger doses of electronic-oriented club music.

Before Saint Dymphna invades the marketplace, the "House Jam” single is scheduled to be released. Along with the album version, it comes sporting a Hot Chip remix, as well as the XXXChange remix, which is already streaming on the band’s MySpace page.

In other Gang Gang Dance news, the band will be hitting the road for a brief U.S. tour this summer and then heading overseas to Japan come fall. Here is the Saint Dymphna tracklisting, along with those dates:
