As previously reported, Garbage are getting ready to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 1995 self-titled LP, which they'll be performing in full every night on their forthcoming "20 Years Queer Tour." We now know they'll also be toasting the debut collection with a 20th anniversary reissue.
On October 2, Garbage 20th Anniversary will arrive on CD and digitally, both as various packages. The remastered Garbage 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition will be presented as a double CD that finds the original album put onto one disc, with a bonus disc including nine era-appropriated "G-sides." For the digital release, there are various versions, ranging from the standard 12-track edition to the remix-heavy "Digital Super Deluxe Edition" over on iTunes. This deluxe iTunes edition contains the original album, the "G-sides," 12 alternate takes, and 29 remixes from the likes of Depeche Mode's Martin Gore, Goldie and Massive Attack.
Of course, the reissue is also coming on vinyl. On October 30, the album will get the standard 12-track album pressed as a double LP, while a triple-vinyl version will come in December, packaged with all the "G-sides," as well as a zine and a autographed picture of Garbage.
