Gary Numan to Bring The Pleasure Principle Back to North America

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jun 25, 2010

Legendary British synth master Gary Numan intended to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his inimitable album The Pleasure Principle earlier this year, but couldn't get across the Atlantic thanks to that pesky Icelandic volcano. Rather than surrender to the cruel hand of Mother Nature, however, Numan has rescheduled that tour for this fall.

Naturally dubbed the "Pleasure Principle 2010 Tour," the run of dates kicks off in Orlando, FL on October 17 and continues through the United States. Right in the middle of the tour, Numan will make one stop in Canada for a performance at Toronto's Opera House on October 24.

Last September, the Beggars Group reissued The Pleasure Principle, adding a second disc and filling it with all sorts of goodies. The CD set can be picked up here.

Numan is currently putting the finishing touches on his 17th solo album, dubbed Splinter.
