Gene Simmons Doesn't Regret Trying to Trademark the Devil Horns

"People said, 'You can't do that.' Actually, bitch — I can."

Earlier this year, Gene Simmons tried to add "patent troll" to his resume by filing to trademark the classic "rock on" devil horns hand gesture. He ultimately gave up what many deemed a ridiculous pursuit, though he doesn't seem to think it was a waste of his time.

Speaking to the Windsor Star, Simmons said, "I regret nothing. Wake up every morning and let your conscience be your guide," adding, "People said, 'You can't do that.' Actually, bitch — I can. I can do anything I want to do."

He continued: "Did you know I own the money bag logo? The dollar sign with the bag of money. I own all kinds of things. I own 'motion pictures' as a trademark. Anyone who thinks that's silly — the silliest thing I've ever done is wear more makeup and higher heels than your mommy."

A search of the United States Patent and Trademark Office's database reveals that Simmons does own the money bag logo, though he does not hold one for the phrase "motion pictures." He also bears some resemblance to Tommy Wiseau and this cow.
