As Georgie James, former Q and Not U member John Davis and singer-songwriter Laura Burhenn delivered a modest, energetic set for their Pop performance, but it felt the whole time that something was missing. Perhaps I wished the band were slightly edgier; the pop rock was so simple it was approaching predictable. In any case, they created sweet melodies that could have easily made an impact on airwaves in the 70s alongside Fleetwood Mac and Dire Straits. Laura is charismatic as a front-woman with her Rhodes on "Cake Parade giving you the sense that she was singing just to you.
