Last month, former My Chemical Romance vocalist Gerard Way announced he was about to jump into the solo game, and he has now brought us a song from his forthcoming debut. Titled "Action Cat," the pop-rock track is ready to be pounced upon by fans.
While overly crunchy on the outside, the distorted tune delivers Stevia-sweet guitar hooks and delectable vocal harmonies. Way may cry out at one point about launching off firecracker wishes, but the song appears to also have a "be careful what you wish for" motif via its chorus of "don't ask a lot and you won't lose a lot."
The single is available now on iTunes and available to stream down below, while the details of Way's debut album for Warner Bros. have yet to be delivered.
