After mapping out a four-date farewell tour earlier this month, Geto Boys have reportedly cancelled the outing the day it was set to begin.
TMZ reports that the group cancelled the tour after Bushwick Bill felt the organizers were exploiting his recent diagnosis with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
The site adds that Bushwick Bill also felt that the tour's name, "The Beginning of a Long Goodbye: The Final Farewell," made it "seem like he was on his deathbed."
While Geto Boys have yet to confirm the tour's cancellation through their own channels, all four dates have been either removed or listed as cancelled by the venues.
TMZ also reports that Bushwick Bill is plotting a solo tour, minus his Geto Boys groupmates, set to begin June 8 in Dallas. You can find the group's cancelled dates below.
Tour dates:
05/24 Pontiac, MI - The Crofoot
05/25 Cleveland, OH - Agora Theatre
05/29 Washington, DC - Howard Theatre
05/30 New York, NY - Sony Hall
