Glitter Party — the Toronto-based project of Sam Cohen — has shared his first single since his first run of live shows. "time waits" is available to stream now.
Inspired by jangle-pop and the likes of fellow Canadians Loving, "time waits" is fleshed out by chorus-filled guitars with infectious riffs. The recording process was partially done on tape, lending to the track's lo-fi feel while still maintaining a high production value.
"'time waits' has been sitting on my computer for the last little while, and I've finally got around to finishing it after relearning it for our live shows," Cohen tells Exclaim! "It's a fun little love song I recorded in my bedroom."
The music video for "time waits" shows Cohen singing and switching between instruments behind a projection of the sky. Watch it below.
