Cottage-rocking quintet the Glorious Sons first caught our attention this past summer when they won Kingston, ON radio station 97.7 HTZ-FM's Rocksearch. Now the small-town heroes are capitalizing on their success, having recently signed with Black Box Music and prepping the release of their long-awaited EP. Hear the fruits of their labour by listening to Shapeless Art before it hits shelves on November 19.
Produced by John-Angus MacDonald (of the Trews) and mixed by Gordie Johnson (of Big Sugar), the band's six-track debut finds the Glorious Sons delivering radio-ready hooks with an alt-rock sheen, evoking whiskey-soaked '90s rock (lead single "Mama"), road-hardened riffs ("White Noise") and pub-heavy theatrics (piano-based singalong "Caroline").
Stream the EP in its entirety below, and don't forget to catch the band as they tour across Canada with Head of the Herd for the remainder of November.
