As all self-respecting Goblin fans now know, the legendary Italian horror/prog troupe will be embarking on their first-ever North American tour next month. But along with all that anticipated live action, the group are releasing a new tour EP via esteemed horror score hub Death Waltz, who have now leaked all the details of said release.

The mini-release, simply going by the title Tour EP, is due out October 1 via Death Waltz and, as previously reported, will feature re-recorded versions of some of Goblin's most-loved tracks. These include the iconic "Profondo Rosso," "Roller," "Tenebre" and, yes, "Suspiria." According to the press release, the band treated "the originals with the reverence they deserve but updating them to sound more in line with their current live set-up."

The limited release will be pressed on blood-red 180-gram vinyl and feature the frightfully manic cover above, which was designed by famed poster artist Graham Humphrey's (Evil Dead, A Nightmare On Elm Street).

As for the tour, Goblin will play Canadian shows in Montreal on October 10, Toronto on October 11 and Vancouver on October 17. You can see all the dates here.

For now, watch a pretty amazing tailer for the EP at the bottom of the page.
