Gold Panda Gets Baths and Banjo or Freakout for New EP

BY Alex HudsonPublished Dec 24, 2010

Up-and-coming electronic whiz Gold Panda made a big splash in 2010, earning our mark of approval with his dreamy debut LP Lucky Shiner. Now, the Essex, UK-based producer is looking to carry this success into 2011 with a new EP.

The EP is called Marriage, and it will be out on February 28 via Notown. It's named after the song of the same title, which appears on Lucky Shiner (take a listen in the video embedded below). The EP, which appears to be digital only, also features remixes from fellow buzz-worthy electro acts Baths and Banjo or Freakout.

Gold Panda is beginning to fill out his 2011 tour plans. Most of the dates already scheduled are in Europe, but there are also a number of dates at SXSW. He has a month free after SXSW, so hopefully he will fill out his calendar with some more North American shows.

2/16 Kortrijk, Beligum - De Kreun
