Good Riddance

Bound by the Ties of Blood and Affection

BY Shawn MerrillPublished Aug 1, 2003

Good Riddance rarely disappoint and this time is no exception on the hardcore merry go round. Bound by the Ties of Blood and Affection spits out 14 scathingly fierce songs/commentaries on the socio-politico state of present-day America. And vocalist Russ Rankin has no qualms about identifying the decline of a nation and our lives of surfeit. Good Riddance refuse to back down musically or vocally and any hesitation as to their hardcore mission will result in being blown back into a corner and with complete paralysis. By the sounds of this release, Good Riddance has gone to war. Victory now depends on education, compassion, and open ears and minds.
