Featuring some of the greatest, if most impractical, album art/packaging ever the CD is literally enveloped by a facehugger straight out of the Alien franchise Graf Orlock (named after Count Orlock from Nosferatu) are awesome from the get go. Obsessed with film, more specifically action/sci-fi movies generally from decades ago, Graf Orlock lace their unrelenting combination of confrontation, which recalls the frantic, unhinged metallic grind chaos of Ed Gein and the like, with numerous film samples (although they are nowhere near the level of sample madness as Killwhitneydead). Snippets of dialogue from films such as Aliens and Alien Resurrection, The Terminator and Terminator Two: Judgement Day, True Lies, Lethal Weapon, Demolition Man, etc. are interwoven with the frantic riffing and manic screams. As well, the lyrics are cut and pasted from film (usually the ones just sampled), and the CD closes with a metallic interpretation of the theme from Jurassic Park. Clocking in at just 16 minutes, Destination Time Tomorrow is metallic grind/noise for film geeks.
