The debut album from grandson, Death of an Optimist, has finally arrived, and today you can stream it in full.

With contributions by Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda, Blink-182's Travis Barker, Krupa, Boonn and Andrew Dawson, the new record is being billed as a "horror story with a happy ending." The artist born Jordan Benjamin explained that the 12-track record is "about my personal dilemma of whether or not to keep fighting."

He added: "It really represents my own personal crossroads on if I can continue to preach agency and change in a time where there is so much fear-mongering and doom scrolling to suggest it could all be for nothing, ultimately."

In addition to the album's release, Benjamin has shared plans for a special one-night Death of an Optimist: The Movie livestream event.

Later this month, the artist will pull back the curtain on his music, art and activism to showcase the new record — including its inception in the studio and on the road — with the new film. Tickets for the event can be purchased here. Death of an Optimist: The Movie will air on December 17 at 8 p.m. ET via NoCap. Watch a trailer for the film below.

You can stream/purchase grandson's new album here, as well as listen to it in full below. The album is out now via Fueled by Ramen.
