Grimes is harnessing the sheer force of the latest viral TikTok trend to once again defend her billionaire partner Elon Musk. On Saturday (August 21), the avant-garde pop artist hopped on the viral "Is he hot or..." challenge with a new video posted to the platform.
Addressing the barrage of negative comments about her tech entrepreneur boyfriend, she wrote: "Stop harassing me on this app over fake news and I am not my bf's spokesperson."
In the clip, she takes a page out of Jeff Bezos' book by cosplaying Dr. Evil —seated in a room washed in purple lighting, cooly eyeing the camera while petting a robot dog. (And wearing a fairy wing filter, obviously.) The artist proceeds to pick up a knife and smile slyly.
The viral audio is a mash-up of Michael Jackson's "P.Y.T." and City Girls' "Twerkulator," which plays as Grimes' text rolls out over the video:
