UK hardcore crew Gallows have undergone lineup tweaks in the past, as Alexisfire's MacNeil took over on vocals in 2011 after the departure of prior frontman Frank Carter. Now, the band have experienced another personnel change, as guitarist Steph Carter (Frank's brother) has exited the lineup.
Rather than replace Carter, the outfit will be carrying on without him. They wrote on Facebook, "Steph has left Gallows and we wish him the best of luck with his future projects. We will be moving on as a four piece like the early days."
Carter tweeted that he would be focusing on his band the Ghost Riders in the Sky. This act has three songs up on SoundCloud, which point to a more roots-rocking, faintly Mumford-flavoured direction. Hear those tunes below.
As for Steph's brother Frank, he went on to form a new band called Pure Love after his departure from Gallows, and they released the debut album Anthems this month.
Gallows have a busy live schedule in the coming months that includes stops in Australia, Asia an Europe. See their itinerary here.
