Guns N' Roses aren't exactly the most child-appropriate band, but that isn't stopping the notoriously hard-partying group from releasing their very own children's book.
The book is titled Sweet Child O' Mine, which obviously takes its title from GNR's 1988 mega hit. The band made the bit of children's literature alongside author James Patterson and illustrator Jennifer Zivion.
"As a longtime fan of Guns N' Roses, I'm thrilled to partner with the band in bringing their famed hit song to life on the page," Patterson said in a statement."Sweet Child O'Mine is a story that I know kids will love reading and that parents will love singing along to."
According to the book's description, it features two main characters, which are based on the children of the band's manager Fernando Lebeis and his sister.
It adds, "Follow a child's wondrous discovery that music is everywhere around us — from the gentle wind blowing through the bluest skies, to the fearful crash of the thunder and the rain."
Sweet Child O' Mine will be released on September 1, and you can already pre-order a copy.
