She had words for frontman Maynard James Keenan

Last week, the world was surprised to learn that Justin Bieber is a fan of Tool after the pop giant quizzed his Instagram followers on lyrics from the metal outfit. Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan didn't appear to share similar feelings, and Hailey Bieber, Justin's wife, has now hit back in his defence.

On Instagram last week, Bieber shared a few lyrics of Tool song "The Pot," and told his fans, "If you know what the song is to the lyrics I posted write them down...don't look it up please I'm curious if any of you know it."

Upon news of his post making it back to Keenan, the vocalist thought it was a "#bummer" that the Biebs was enjoying the band's 2006 album 10,000 Days

In a response to Keenan yesterday (July 15), Hailey wrote that Justin "expressed he was a fan of your music. Grew up listening to your music. You must be unhappy with yourself that you want to make people feel small who express their admiration for you. Very childish and hurtful thing to do. I hope u find security within yourself. Sad place to be." This morning, all Keenan had to say to Hailey in response was "Hush." In the wake of this minor beef, the Biebers may no longer be anticipating the arrival of Tool's new studio album, which is set to be released August 30

Tool have already debuted a pair of new tracks, titled "Invincible" and "Descending," during recent live shows.
