After revealing the inspiration behind new single "Now I'm in It" earlier this week, HAIM have now shared the track and an accompanying video directed by frequent collaborator Paul Thomas Anderson.
In a series of tweets yesterday (October 29), Danielle Haim explained that the song is about going through depression. She said that "the track is chaotic- like my mind when i'm spiraling...these times are hard to forget and even harder to work through."
Anderson's video mirrors the state of chaos best by running Danielle through a car wash. You can watch the clip below.
HAIM and Anderson came together earlier this year on a video for new single "Summer Girl." The group also appeared on efforts from Gesaffelstein and Charli XCX, while Danielle Haim was heavily featured on Vampire Weekend's Father of the Bride.
HAIM's last album was 2017's Something to Tell You.
