Following a 2019 filled with live shows, Shade have returned with their first new single since 2018.
The Hamilton outfit's "Brain Suck" is said to be a song about unrequited love and arrives through Sleepless Records alongside a video directed by Aabid Yousef. You can watch the five-piece blast through the song bathed in coloured light below.
"My goal with the video was to capture the exhilarating energy and emotion of experiencing Shade play the song live for the first time," Yousef said of the clip. "To me, this is how it feels when they perform. A dizzyingly colourful assault of brit rock hooks and grunge riffs witnessed through a constantly moving pupil."
Upon signing with Sleepless in 2018, Shade began work on a debut full-length album with producers Leon Taheny and Josh Korody.
