Hangnail

The debut full-length from up and coming British stoner rock outfit Hangnail unfortunately doesn’t hit the mark. Sounding something like a mixture of Sky Valley-era Kyuss and latter day Soundgarden, the quartet lacks originality in their mundane musical mixture. By the second song, an Eastern-tinged meandering mess, I’m bored. Where is my pillow? I feel a long, long nap coming on.
