It's a new month, and if you're feeling anything like I am, you're probably eager to do some spring cleaning in all aspects of your life. Even when moving to a new city and developing a whole new aesthetic isn't realistic, you can always start with your playlist — and the week's best new Canadian music has you covered for whatever era you're entering.

May flower Begonia blossoms on "Get to You," while Kaïa Kater's Strange Medicine continues to take promising shape with the latest Aoife O'Donovan-featuring single, "The Witch." Eva Shaw is also in a collaborative mood, teaming up with Ottawa-born rapper TwoTiime for "no excuses."

This week in album releases, we have new records from Charlotte Day Wilson (Cyan Blue), Beams (Requiem for a Planet), Jon McKiel, Laraw and Exclaim! New Faves alum Kee Avil

Elsewhere, HOMESHAKE is readying his second LP of 2024, and Jim Cuddy is prepping his sixth solo album (as well as a huge Canadian tour).

Shake off those April showers with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
