Valerie June will sing of Owls, Omens, and Oracles on a new album next month, and the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter has shared a second single from the effort.
"Sweet Things Just for You" finds June singing of sweetness, with musical assists on guitar from producer M. Ward and backing vocals from Norah Jones.

In a time when wellness and self-improvement have become a $4.5 trillion-dollar industry, many of us are hungry for a more profound spiritual solution for sustainable change. The truth is wellness cannot be purchased at our local health-food store. Wellness and mindfulness are actions. It is how we relate to one another, nature and our environment.
Whether we are singing a song, sharing our art, waiting tables, cleaning houses, writing policies, cuddling loved ones, or building bridges, how do we show up for each other with the spirit of sweetness in every move? We spend our whole lives toiling, and what is the spirit of our service? Though it seems easy, I've found it to be super challenging to practice sweetness, especially when we are facing the hurdles of the modern world.
