Massachusetts metalcore band Bury Your Dead have returned with their first new material since 2011's Mosh n' Roll. They have released the new song "Collateral," which is also their first release on Stay Sick Recordings.
It may come as a surprise to those who have only seen their hilariously cheeky "I used to mosh" line of merchandise, but fans will be pleased to know the track will have listeners moshing from its opening declaration of "You fucking crossed a line." Chugs abound, while natural harmonic sweeps add a sense of panic to the beatdown, and yes, there is a climactic closing breakdown.
The song was produced, mixed and mastered by producer du jour Daniel Laskiewicz, who used to play guitar in the Acacia Strain and has worked on the latest LPs from All That Remains and Unearth.
You can hear the track in the player below and cross your fingers that they'll announce it's from an album at tomorrow's show at Anaheim, CA's Chain Reaction.
