George Harrison's classic All Things Must Pass is getting a massive 50th anniversary reissue that will be loaded with previously unreleased material. Among all those tracks is "Cosmic Empire," which we've got ahead of the full-meal deal.
While "Cosmic Empire" has been heavily bootlegged over the years, it's now getting its first official release on the reissue, and today you can check out the track via a new animated lyric video.
The song is a brief two-minute offering, with the Beatle performing "Cosmic Empire" on his acoustic guitar. But Harrison makes those two minutes count, showing off some pretty great vocal howls and falsetto work, while his guitar playing is more than a little fiery.
Check out "Cosmic Empire" for yourself below.
As previously reported, the 50th anniversary edition of All Things Must Pass arrives August 6 through Capitol/UMe in a variety of formats, including LP, CD and Blu-ray.
