Following last month's Ciel remix of "End of This World Together," LAL have now enlisted Prince Josh to rework another song from their album Meteors Could Come Down.
Below, you can hear the Toronto artist's remix of "Still Movements," for which he affixes a nervy breakbeat to LAL's gentle pianos and synths. The track will officially arrive on DSPs tomorrow (April 16).
Calling the Prince Innocence and Little Girls member's involvement "an absolute pleasure and honour," LAL's Nicholas Murray shared, "Prince Josh is someone we see all the time, he works out of Easy Life Studios in our building. We usually sit outside and discuss music and all things Toronto past and present. Josh has a really deep knowledge of Toronto music history."
Meteors Could Come Down is available now via Coax Records. Read Exclaim!'s review of the record.
Last year, Prince Josh made his solo debut with The Joy, which landed on Exclaim!'s list of 25 Canadian Albums You Might Have Missed in 2020.
