Hear Soccer Mommy Cover Bruce Springsteen's "I'm on Fire"

It appears on a forthcoming 7-inch single

Soccer Mommy delivered her debut album Clean earlier this year, but Sophie Allison is already back with a new 7-inch under her musical moniker. It features a revamped version of an older track, as well as a Bruce Springsteen cover, and it's due out October 5 via Fat Possum.

The A-side boasts original track "Henry," which previously appeared on 2016's For Young Hearts. The B-side hears Allison's take on the Boss's "I'm on Fire."

"I wanted to make a version of 'I'm on Fire' that connected with the sadness of the song," she said in a statement. "I think that doing a more stripped down version allowed me to make something that feels emotionally raw."

Pre-orders for the "Henry" single are available here.

Right now, though, listen to "I'm on Fire" below.
