BY Exclaim! StaffPublished Sep 2, 2022

September is officially upon us. It's nearly fall, so a both highly coveted and deeply dreaded chill will be in the air any day now, but we doubt it will be anything comparable to the chills Canadian artists are procuring with the week's best new Canadian music.

Scarborough's LOONY returns with her first new release since 2021 EP soft thing, PUP give us a taste of their forthcoming live EP recorded in Toronto, and Arkells team up with Tegan and Sara. Elsewhere, it's confirmed: "Nothing Compares" to Les Shirley, and Geneviève Racette covers Shania Twain.

This week saw album releases from hip-hop rising star Akintoye and Winnipeg's dream-weavers Living Hour (Someday Is Today).

Things are about to get even busier with the hustle and bustle of back-to-school season, so temper the chaos by finding your chill with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
