Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: TOBi, Fucked Up, DijahSB, Shania Twain

BY Exclaim! StaffPublished Oct 28, 2022

Before you throw "Monster Mash" on repeat, we have the week's scary-good best new Canadian music for your Halloweekend consideration.

Shania Twain changes things up to "let's go ghouls!" with the timing of her latest single (ahead of forthcoming new album Queen of Me) and Fucked Up remain as (seasonally) appropriate as ever. The same can't, however, be said for DijahSB, who's pressing rewind to the "SummerTime" (unless... "Time Warp" vibes?), while TOBi gets spookily sensual with "She Loves Me."

There is an absolute onslaught of new albums this week, including releases from Bonnie Trash, Arm's Length, Dan Mangan, Blessed (Circuitous), Matt Foster (True Needs), Lee Paradise (Lee Paradise & Co.), Junior Boys (Waiting Game), Field Guide (Field Guide), Ila Barker, Les Shirley, Dragonette, Skye Wallace, Single Mothers, Milk & Bone and Alicia Clara.

Elsewhere, latest Dine Alone Records signee Cam Kahin will need his "compass" for trick-or-treating, Badge Époque Ensemble preview their remix collection and Bad Waitress make some noise.

It's treats only with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
