Helena Deland has returned with a new song. The Montreal artist has shared "Lylz," and you can hear it alongside a video below.
"Lylz" is named for a friend that introduced Deland composers and sisters Lili and Nadia Boulanger. Inspired by the sisters' companionship and devotion to one another in life and work, the song was wrote as an ode to female friendship and companionship.
"Lylz" marks Deland's first release since her EP series Altogether Unaccompanied. Exclaim! named the efforts among the Top 11 EPs of 2018.
